Royal Grand Hotel Celebrates 10 Years

Royal Grand Hotel celebrates its 10 years anniversary today. For 10 years, the hotel has operated in the Liberian market as one of the premier locations for visitors to the country. Veteran travelers to Monrovia may be familiar with Royal Grand Hotel from its older appearance. Although, the newly built hotel revamped its look to serve a new wave of travelers visiting Liberia. With this new look, they offer familiar luxuries travelers may be accustomed to in other parts of the world. At 10 years old, the new Royal Grand Hotel has come a long way, but what remains paramount is their continued commitment to raising the bar for what the Liberian hospitality experience entails.
The Royal Experience
Walking through the doors of Royal Grand Hotel, it is easy to feel like you have walked into someone’s home due to the personalized experience it offers. For the hotel’s Managing Director, Helen Eid Hariz, this experience is intentional, as she stated; “For the past 10 years, walking into Royal feels like I’m welcoming you into my home.”

A very luxe home it is, as guests have the option to stay in the comforts of their cozy rooms all day enjoying in-room amenities. Otherwise, they can grab coffee and work remotely from the Donut Bar or grab a lunch meeting at the Royal Café. Guests also have the option to pamper themselves at the gym, the Spa, or the Nail Bar. For dinner plans, they can enjoy authentic Asian cuisine upstairs at The Livingroom restaurant. If they are feeling festive, they can meet friends for specialty cocktails at the Royal Rooftop Bar. Options are a huge part of the royal experience, with them adding a pizza bar in the last 2 years.
Local Support
Walking into the hotel, it is also apparent the management’s commitment to supporting Liberian-owned businesses. In the lobby, guests can choose from an assortment of businesses to purchase from. Besides that, the hotel has, over the years, curated a formula that packages diverse experiences into one.
10 years operation is no small feat, with the challenges that comes with managing a business in a developing nation. However, Royal Grand Hotel has remained committed to growing with the country. Part of this growth has been their support of the Liberian entertainment industry. As part of that support, they partnered with industry veteran, Grace Weah, alias, MasterQueen, to serve as their Brand Ambassador. They have also partnered with different influencers, models, content creators, and event hosts to bring excitement to the Liberian tourism sectors.

Royal Grand Hotel Ten Years of Service
Frankly, there is no trip to Liberia that is complete without a visit to Royal Grand hotel. Visitors can take photos at their instagram worthy lobby displays, or enjoy their rooftop view overlooking Monrovia. To commemorate their anniversary, the hotel’s Managing Director, Helen Eid Hariz thanked guests and staff for the past years, saying;
“The past ten years has been full of love, passion, and beautiful memories, while working with an amazing and dedicated team. In the ten years, we have served many wonderful, loyal guests. However, it has also been ten years of learning, setbacks, and picking up again.” The managing director continued with gratitude to customers, visitors, and guests for their lessons, stays, and support to the hotel over the years. Lastly, Eid Hariz concluded her statement, saying; “Liberia, we are yours. Cheers to many more years!”
Surely, the Liberian public also share that same gratitude for the presence of the Royal Grand Hotel in the country as they celebrate their 10 years anniversary!
