Hello November! But First, Goodbye October

If you’ve been following our Koloqua Updates, you’d know that October was a very eventful month for Liberians around the world. We had people making some major business moves while serving dialogue-worthy looks. Halloween was even widely celebrated both in and out of Liberia, as our people are becoming more opened to the American holiday. There were even some ground-shattering gossip that hit the streets, as reported by some of our favorite gossip blogs. While every moment was indeed dialogue-worthy, there were some that stood out more than others. As such, before we dive into what November holds, let’s take a trip down memory lane to some of October’s top moments.

October’s Noise Makers
Teddy Ride
The boy to love to proved the worthiness of his stardom with his October takeover. From signing with a London-based management and branding team, to sharing his graduation clearance, and just being an overall star. We loved following his moves around the world over the past month, and will continue to tune in.

Kpanto
The street president is currently on a US tour, and the scenes have us feeling like we’re missing out! In true Kpanto style, the star is bringing out the ladies at each stop so far on his tour. Meanwhile, with an official photographer following the star’s every move, its the tour marketing we’re truly enjoying. October was simply the start of the tour, but you can catch more dates and cities via Kpanto’s instagram account.

Shop Bombchel
Another takeover we loved is the growth of Liberian fashion brand, Bombchel. Rooted in Monrovia with their flagship store, Mango Rags, the Bombchel brand is now expanding to other cities. This past October, the brand celebrated its 2 years anniversary in Atlanta as one of the cities top woman-owned boutiques. Along with that, the brand, owned by Archel Bernard, announced that it is now in Miami, following a partnership with Showfields. Liberian fashion taking over 1 major city at a time? That’s BOMB!

Cianneh Browne
Cianneh Browne is a model taking the runway by a storm, both on land in the sky. The Model took to instagram to announce her promotion as a flight attendant with the prestigious Delta Airlines. In this new position, she will be moving from being a regional flight attendant, to a main line attendant. This means she can now travel anywhere in the world, as opposed to only within the US. We simply can’t wait to meet a Liberian girl in the friendly skies.

What’s to Expect in November
November in Liberia means the official start to the Dry Season and its activities. What this means is, we can expect more beach and bikini photos on our timelines. We should also expect more entanglements, as the festive season is on its way. Besides, we know that major business moves, and dialogue-worthy fashion moments will continue to happen, and we can’t wait to share them all with you, our faithful readers. Until next time.
